1. Remove the original antenna.

2. Identify whether or not your existing antenna mount will fit the threads on the new antenna mast.

2a.  If it does match, go to step 3

2b.  If it does not match, utilize the adapter provided.  Note that you may have to remove an existing adapter.

3. Use the provided washers to align the guides on the antenna to the desired location.  The washers are sized to be used between the antenna mast and the adapter.  Add or subtract the number of washers used to allow for a different stopping point when tightening the antenna.  This will allow you to have the guides aligned in the desired location. 

  It is advised to use a thread locking adhesive.
